This depicts one of my favorite airplane paint schemes- red and white- on an old taildragger on floats. This pilot has had to stop for night due to weather. He is cozy in his tent, as winter slowly fades away. This was also inspired by the work of both Bob Ross and Bill Alexander. Both were television artists and both mastered landscape painting in a way that was accessible to many artists. I spent many hours watching them both.
