MARC'S BOOK
"From Out of the Wind"
This is an aviation book based on true events that Marc experienced.
The time is today. Marc and one of his student pilots travel to Texas to pick up a 1964 Grumman AA-1 airplane to fly it 1,029 miles back to California. After launching for California early one morning, the two experience several mishaps and an odd engine vibration, forcing them to land at a desolate desert airfield in Texas.
The two pilots are too far from help, and the empty airfield has no people and no facilities of any kind. The cause of the engine problem remains a mystery, when a brutal wind begins to howl, threatening their own safety and that of the diminutive 2-seat airplane sitting helplessly in the open. Suddenly a mysterious old man emerges from out of the dust storm.
What ensues is a tale of mystery, supernatural occurrences, and uncanny luck as these two wayward pilots interact with this odd but helpful stranger. The oddities quickly add up, and unexplainable events begin. The book is a mix of memoir and a look into the hidden and remote corners of aviation and those that engage in it.
The book is a short novelette and is the ideal read for aviation enthusiasts, fantasy and science fiction fans, paranormal enthusiasts, and fiction readers. It is available in Kindle, audio book, and hardcopy format.
