"Dreaming of Jets"

This is a pencil and charcoal drawing I did, inspired by an old magazine photograph from 1956. In the 50's, airplanes were mysterious, and their pilots were heroes. Here Ive depicted this Convair B-36 Peacemaker, and a young boy dreaming of flying it. He reflects the culture of the time where cowboys, astronauts, and pilots were all the rage, and many of today's pilots fell in love with airplanes. This drawing depicts that love affair.
