I wanted a colorful, spring mountain scene with a floatplane. In this case it's a Cessna 170b on floats coming in for an approach on the lake. The pilot has this little hideaway cabin where he can escape his cares. This was based on a scene near Afton, Wyoming; a place that is one of my favorite mountain spots in the world. A snug cabin in a small airplane is just the perfect retreat.
