This painting is from my imagined, "alternate timeline" Earth. In my universe, it's the late 1950s and we travel to space regularly. Maybe this is one of the many planets we live on these days. Here, a man and his loyal dog watch the launch of the Luna 7 probe to one of Mars' moons. And his classic car gleams in the later afternoon sun while Saturn appears on the horizon (instead of the moon).
